Cave In

Hello everyone !

This is my contribution for the Gamejam of Gamecodeur with the theme « Evasion ».  I decided to create a game named "Cave In", because it is in a cave et everything collapse ! I know I was creative for the name :D

Story :

You are a young explorer and you decide to go in a cave to find a tresor. Unfortunately, the cave begin to cave in before you find gold and you have to escape before you will be crush by rocks ! 

Controls:

Move horizontally : Arrow “Left” and “Right”

Jump: Arrow “Up” 

Shoot with anchor : “Space” touch

Place a block : "Enter" touch

Touch "p" : For pause, you can see controls during pause.

Advice : 

For people who don't understand my game, you have to pile block to climb to the exit. But you can put blocks only if they are beside in the palette (the palette at the top-right corner). For exemple, you can put green block only near a yellow or a blue block. It is kind of puzzle game.

About the game and me :

This game is developed with Lua and Love2D.  I created this in about 49 hours. For this time I do all scripts and graphism for my game. I wanted to try digital painting and it was difficult but I learned a lot of thing and I appreciated to create all my game alone. Except for the sound and the music, I don't have the skill for that for the moment :). 

My game is hard to finish, I hope you have determination to get victory ! Be brave soldier or you will die in this cave !

When I uploaded my game, I saw that resolution problems are presents. For some screens, player can't see everything and so he can't play. Therefore, I have created another version for lower resolution of screen. If you can play with the original game it is better !
 
Resolution of original game is 960x960
Resolution of 2nd version is 480x480
